What you are in Christ

To remember who you are and what you are in Christ is the first step to victory over the adversary. But it is true that often times we only remember what we were before we become sons and daughters of God, or what we have done that was wrong. We remember about our lives as sinners.

His workmanship

We remember about our failures and mistakes and we forget what we are: “His workmanship created in Christ Jesus”. We forget that we have been recreated by God, that we have been justified by Him, that we have been made the Righteousness of God in Christ by Him and that we are partakers of the divine nature of God.

We forget that we are the very sons and daughters of God. Once we were subjects of the adversary, but now we have been Redeemed out of his dominion. Col. 1:13, “Who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the son of His love, in whom we have our Redemption, the remission of our sins.” We have absolute deliverance from the hand of the enemy.

We are in the kingdom

We are in the kingdom of the son of His love and we have our Redemption. Satan has no dominion over us. Satan has no right to reign over us. He has no right to put disease upon us or to plunge us into poverty or need. We are the sons of God, the heirs of God and the joint heirs with Christ. God is now the strength of our lives. “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” When I was in the other family, I had no other help. Satan owned me and held me in bondage.

But now I have been translated out of his dominion and brought into the family of God. I have been made a New Creation, created in Christ Jesus over which Satan has no dominion. Have A Very Blessed Day In Christ Jesus!
